Seriously though, that’s an old joke about truck drivers and probably everyone else that has pissed their boss off at one time or another.
Answer: A puppy quits whining after six months.
This showed up yesterday, after a good stretch of pleasant gaming.
Now, as to what he is talking about, I have no clue. I’m going to assume it was my most recent flip on my way to town, where I flipped a lvl 7, so I could flip it back on my way home and hope that some more blues would throw some 8s on it. I then linked it to eight other portals for some fields and link AP. It’s thirty minutes from either town, so it’s a pain to just go and wait the hour to flip it back.
Other than that, it’s been a while since I’ve flipped any at all. There’s no point really, as my wife rarely plays anymore, and as he mentioned, the hh doesn’t play anymore. (That’s the local blues.) I would flip a lot more if there were people that would throw their resos on the portal, but they aren’t.
As for why they aren’t playing, I don’t know. Maybe it’s because of me. If so, then that’s sad for them. I hardly do anything but hack and then capture after the portals go back to grey. If I get a chance, I go to town and smash what I can, but not too often.
Switching sides? I don’t think so. I thought I made it clear in Switching To Green. Also, if I switch to green, then I would have to endure even more incorrect facts from the mighty SANT0RI. I already get lots of those, but thanks anyhow.
I also got a message in comms from the player that happened upon the link I shared (and will share, every time).
That was cool. It made me feel like less of a petty asshole.
I guess it’s okay to make light fun of mental illness.
