I thought I’d just update you on our Friday night shenanigans. Juice, Scooter, Gadget, Sebastard and I had a bit of a bachelor party, and it got a little bit hairy for a while. We had some drinks, some laughs, and a small donnybrook, but it all ended with everyone as friends, and even though the photographer got knocked down in the fracas, we managed to get most of it on film. Hopefully I’ll get that up by Monday, but at the rate I’ve been moving, it may be later than that.
I’ve learned that I’m not as young as I once was, and that makes it harder to drop it like it’s hot or get low, but I gave it the old college try, and now have the pulled groin muscles to prove it. All in all, we had a good time, and we are so lucky to have all of the fun-loving, hilarious, and sweet friends that we do. They make our lives awesome, and also do some crazy shit, just because we ask them. I can’t wait til the next photo adventure.
Now that I’ve told you about our awesome friends, I’ll tell you about our awesome family. They are all the salt of the earth, and I’ve been neglecting them lately, so without further ado I will be not blogging on the weekends when I’m busy or don’t feel like it. It’s not because I don’t love blogging, because I do. It’s because I’m spending too much time trying to get home to write a blog post, when I’m enjoying myself at a lovely dinner, or at a friend’s for drinks. Then I’m up all night trying to get something written for the morning, when I should be cocooning the shit outta my lady.
She should not have time to watch Intervention Canada, Australia’s Next Top Model, or The C Word. I should be laying beside her, gazing adoringly into her eyes as I am reaching around and giving her a loving back rub. Right? That’s why I’ve decided to relax a little, and enjoy life while I can. I also think that some time to recharge is good every once in awhile, so there’s that as well.
Now, I’m not saying I’ll never write on the weekends, I’m sure if I’m bored or it’s really crappy outside, I’ll jot some shit down, but I’m just not holding myself to a schedule.
Sorry Dustin, but you’ll have to go and read Vivi-section, or Missy’s Random Musings until Monday, or you could browse through past posts from here. Either way, I’ll see you on Monday if you decide to come back.
I like to hear some funky Dixieland, pretty mama come and take me by the hand,
